Before undergoing any procedure at our practice, we require all patients to fill out and sign HIPAA papers. HIPAA, which stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, is a federal law that protects the privacy of patients’ personal health information. By signing these papers, you’re giving us permission to access, use, and disclose your health information only for purposes related to your treatment, payment or healthcare. Your privacy is important to us, and we take every measure to ensure that your personal health information remains confidential and secure.
